Stephen Flinn is a true professional who has been teaching for over a quarter century and has given over 14,000 private drum lessons.
He has been featured in many international publications and has written articles for Modern Drummer and Downbeat magazines. In addition, he recently released his first book, Contemporary Urban Percussion.
The Los Angeles Unified School District awarded Stephen a Certificate of Appreciation for his four years of teaching ensembles at Lanterman High School.
Stephen also runs Special Needs Music: www.specialneedsmusic.com that provides private piano and percussion lessons to intellectually and physically challenged children, teens, and adults in Phoenix and the entire Valley.
In addition to being a sought after teacher, he has appeared on over 27 commercial releases of creative music and has toured extensively throughout Europe, Japan, and the United States.
